Cracked Crab, while not offering a printed GF menu, handed me a menu with all the GF options available, many with modifications. I had the best fish tacos, on corn tortillas, I’ve ever had. The fish was pan grilled, not fried and I substituted green beans for the French fries. The waitstaff was familiar with GF requirements. It was the best seafood dinner I’ve enjoyed while on vacation in Pismo Beach.

They have a GF menu however they had french fries listed as an option. I asked if they were fried with gluten and they said yes. Ok so it was a sort of gf menu. Besides that my food was great no problem. Always ask questions.

Worst experience ever here!!!! Waiter didn’t know about gluten, what items could be gluten free or how to even help. My friend got fried calamari and they weren’t cooked and disgusting she said. I will never go back.

Staff was very knowledgeable about gluten free. They have a separate gluten free menu; most of their items are on it with what modifications are needed. I absolutely loved this place and will return next time we are here.

Make sure you ask for the separate GF menu. Staff was knowledgeable about it and the menu was clearly labeled with the necessary modifications needed. Enjoyed the chippiono (without the sourdough bread).

Great, a separate GF menu with loads of options. Felt very secure with what the staff told me. Busy but turned over tables quickly. I had the crab cocktail starter and for me that was plenty! Hubby had the bisque and the mussels in white wine, good meal he grunted 🤣 high praise... we"d return definately.

We had an amazing dinner here. Steamed crab buckets were top notch, and while you can get simple crab legs GF many places, the quality was second to none. Where this place really shines for celiacs is the appetizers. Try their abalone or their DELICIOUS GF crab bisque. And don't miss the chocolate mousse for dessert. No GF menu, but the servers were very knowledgable/helpful. We will definitely be back.
