They have no clue what they are doing when it comes to allergens. Nice folks, but I got sick after they told me two items were safe that definitely were not.

This is an excellent choice. They will have a manager prepare the food, and they are aware of celiac and very careful. My daughter has eaten here numerous times and has not had any problems .

The Manager oversaw the preparation to ensure that there was no cross contamination. Excellent job!

When asked if GF Menu available I was given a 15 page spieal bound book listing every food item Doan the left side and 12 or more "allergens" as a header row across (spreadsheet style chart) I t would an hour with a magnifying glass to read that entire thing, very awkward and k.poisibke to be of any use to me. I asked about individual items.
This is a last resort restaurant IMO. I should have kept the"book" at the table as I am pretty sure the fried apples were in a flour based sauce.

I can't say I would recommend eating at a cracker barrel if you have celiac or a gluten sensitivity, but they do have options should you need them. They have an allergen menu on their website with some gluten free items, but there is still a high risk of cross-contact.
I only ordered a side of mashed potatoes to be safe. Explained to the staff that I have celiac disease and the importance of no cross-contact. I didn't have a reaction.

They do offer a gluten free menu and have a lot of gluten free items. I’m always a little cautious since they do such a high volume of food. No gluten free breads.

Absolutely a pain to eat here. Even with the allergen menu, the risk of cross contamination is very high.

A little disappointed with the options here. There is only one entree I can safely eat gluten free at this establishment- Grilled Chicken Tenderloins, with a few safe sides (usually I choose green beans and corn).
GF options are extremely limited here because almost everything is breaded, fried or is thickened with flour.
Cross contamination is possible.
Anyone who is Celiac should not eat here.
