Wonderful experience and wonderful food. Made everything separate using untouched ingredients to make sure it was safe. Everything is clearly marked and definitely no reaction! Absolutely loved my bowl!

The food was absolutely delicious, however I was glutened here and had the worst reaction to date. I went at dinner time; it was busy. It was our first time and the staff appeared to be annoyed with our needs and allergy to gluten, which was very surprising as they have a dedicated space for prep for those with a gluten allergy. We were blown off, but had no reason not to trust that the food would be safe. It was not. I wouldn't recommend eating here if you have Celiac or gluten needs.

I loved the sushi here. I was very impressed with how helpful the staff was, you fill out a form indicating you’re gluten free and what you want. They review the form to make sure what you selected is gluten free (they have a cheat sheet for ingredients you can look at when filling out the form). Then they make your food in a separate safe prep area. The best part is the food is very good.

I love craft sushi! I have never gotten sick here! They have a separate line that they make their food on for those with allergies, and I always see them change their gloves for these orders. Very friendly staff and always willing to help out! They have a menu that lists out all of the options you can add to your meal and what allergens each option contains. Would highly recommend!

I was able to eat SO much here! Many of the rolls are GF and bowls too! They’re so friendly and helpful and will use separate prep area for GF to keep it from cross contamination. I loved what I got and will be back!

They have an allergy form you pick up and fill out. They take this to the back and use fresh ingredients to prevent cross contamination. Very good!

There are different utensils for every item and the gluten-free menu items are clearly marked. The tofu is marinated in Tamari soy, but they only have regular soy sauce at the tables. It’s also easy to eat soy-free, dairy-free, and nut-free here.

They have so many gf items and they are very aware of allergies. They changed their gloves and could tell me everything I could and couldn’t have. Plus it’s delicious!!!

We’re in sushi love! We walked in and said “celiac” and they immediately changed gloves, explained they have a separate assembly line for our sushi. Even though it’s a walk-up-and-order place they brought it out to us because they said it would take longer with the extra precautions. This was said with a cheery attitude and we felt totally comfortable! Loved the sushi and all of the gluten-free sauce options. We will be back!

Celiac friendly?

I don't know if other people with Celiac have this same feeling, but I find it hard to get sushi! Everything has soy sauce somewhere, imitation crab, tempura crumbs, etc., and sometimes you encounter a language barrier that makes describing your allergy difficult. Needless to say, usually a sushi restaurant is stressful and unfulfilling, which has led to me not eating it for several years.Thank goodness Craft Sushi opened up in Springfield! They self-describe themselves as "like Chipotle, but with sushi". You go to order, and tell them all the different ingredients you want in your roll. You can also make a rice bowl topped with the same sushi ingredients. I have been twice now, and they are extremely helpful to those with allergies, and will walk through the safe options with you. Also, if you notify them of your allergy, they will do a full wipe down of the work area and change out gloves. Finally, I can have roll with the ingredients I want and can trust. The quality and flavor is great, and they also make great flavored teas! If you have experienced the same gluten concerns with sushi, you will be happy to find this place!
