Crawdaddy’s Restaurant & Oyster Bar

This is a risky place if you’re anything more than gluten sensitive. Our server was able to substitute the fried fish for a blackened grilled fish for me and then I stuck with veggies for my sides since there isn’t a dedicated fryer. Everything tasted great and I didn’t have a reaction.

The waiter was super upfront and honest. Everything is prepared on the same grill. Not Celiac friendly at all! His honesty was appreciated

The waitress checked the limited menu with the chef, and the only thing that she could guarantee was gluten free was the steamed shrimp with butter. It was nice for a quick snack, but not a good place for a full meal

do NOT eat here if celiac. I read a review saying they had gluten free fried oysters, etc. but me & my family waited 45 minutes to be seated, & when we were seated I asked for a gluten free menu. I was then informed that they don’t have a gluten free menu & the only gluten free option they had was grilled shrimp. Not even the sides were gluten free. The waitress said their menu changed a lot after the forest fire.

Very large quantities and the quality is very good. We had the corn dusted fried oysters and loaded baked potato. The fried gluten free oysters were the best on planet earth. All there fried items were gluten free.

Our friends are not celiac loved there crab cakes.
