My first gluten free crepe and I’m happy! Good texture!

I had to inform the staff twice that my order needed to be gluten-free before they brought my food to the back preparation area, but then they changed gloves and used dedicated equipment. I was slightly nervous since gloves weren’t changed before they gathered ingredients from the front prep station, but I didn’t react to the food and it tasted pretty good.

GF crepes are great for my family. These are not buckwheat palette, they're actually crepes.
The man working was very knowledgeable of cross contamination, changed his gloves to prepare on a gf dedicated griddle, and directed us away from items that might have been cross contaminated.

Gluten free crepes. Nothing special one way or the other about these, but gf crepes is a good thing in general. Prepared on a separate griddle from the glutenous crepes, and the cook changed his gloves before preparing the gf ones

Friendly staff, quick service, great crepes!
These are actually crepes too, not buckwheat galettes. I love galettes for the savoury main course, but they aren't well-suited to sweet crepes. This restaurant uses a proprietary GF batter that works for both sweet and savoury options.
It's located in the lower level food court of Washington (DC) Union Station.
— Yes, the establishment is dedicated gluten-free

Delicious crepes and they had a separate cook make the GF crepes.

Here you have gluten-free option for all the crepe and waffles! Our party of four had different kind of crepe and all enjoyed them. They made the gluten-free one's on separate station's and the staff were very conscious about everything.

Inside Union Station, bottom floor, can get savory and sweet crepes. They are made on a separate grill away from the others.

I called first and the dough was available. It tasted very good and the variety was enormous (gluten-free station to avoid contamination). The staff took care, but was not especially nice. Also each gf crepe meant 2$ more and the original prices already weren’t that cheap!!

We went at 10:30am on a Saturday and they said they were out of gluten free batter. Seems like a common occurrence :(
— No gluten-free information on the menu
Asked for gluten free crepes today and they said "Not today. I'm working by myself". I would definitely call first to see if they're able to make your menu items. So sad.. I walked all around Union Station to find this place and they were unable to deliver ☹

Delicious crepes, separate cooktop and utensils used. Would recommend!

Staff was amazing!! Extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations!
Changed gloves without my having to ask, and used a Completely different cooktop!
They said any of their products (with a few add-in exceptions) can be made GF, which gives SO MANY options!

After reading previous reviews I called ahead about GF option. Only available at Union Station location. They are located downstairs. The gentleman was polite and asked me to wait so that they could clean a grill area and change their gloves. His assistant prepared my meal while he took care of the other customers. I even purchased a desert crepe to go.

No gluten free batter - supply chain issues - Feb 2022 🙁

Went out the way to go here and the worker said there was no gluten free items at all. Waste time in our weekend trip for nothing.

They advertise GF but after waiting 25 minutes in line, I was informed that they couldn't/wouldn't do GF because he had other customers (one other customer, that had been waiting maybe 5 minutes) and wouldn't make the batter. Don't advertise something and then not take the time to prepare. And if you won't offer it, put a damn sign out so people don't waste 25 mibutes and then be greeted with your rudeness for not being prepared.

The man working there said he could only vouch for the veggies (no meat or cheese) crepes and the sweet crepes (without some syrups) to be gluten free. He changed his gloves and made it in a separate space away from the others. I did not experience any symptoms. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly.

Amazing. Have to try. They have a completely separate area. The front is for the Glutenous ones 🤢 and the back (which you can still see) is where they make the gluten free ones.❤❤❤ they were super kind and amazing and have so many options!!! BEST EVER. If you are in Washington DC definitely should try!
Yes
Separate cooking space for the gf crepes. Staff was knowledgeable and changed gloves when preparing food. Was helpful and pleasant! One of the few options at Union Station.
Yes
Separate everything, understood gluten free very well. Crepe held together well, and was delicious!

This is the best place EVER. Breakfast crepes, savory crepes, dessert and sweet crepes... Everything is gf and there's a separate gf crepe griddle. They're very knowledgeable and have a BIG GF sign out front. Also vegan friendly. Prices are amazing and perfect for such wonderful, easy, accessible food. I cannot wait to eat here again!

Great breakfast or snack option at union station! I got the strawberry and dulce de leche (13) and it was great. GF is $3 extra though.

Small shop in the food court on the lower level of Union Station. While not particularly impressive to look at, they do seem to understand GF well. The GF crepes are made on separate griddles from the non-GF, which is reassuring to see. Lots of options, with both sweet and savory types. Pretty good tasting as well. Nice option if you want something quick and simple.
Yes
Honestly, no reaction eating the apple cinnamon crepe! 😏 The crepe are cook at a different place. But, so many cross contamination could happen..... The fruit are taken at the same place, they have no idea if the meat are gluten free(ham, sausage,...), all the bottle of sauce(ketchup, mustard, syrup,...) are taken by the same cook(the gluten and gluten free cook), etc... Im really not sure the food are 100% gluten free... 🤔
Dedicated gluten-free cooking space. Savory and sweet crepe options. Open early - 7am! Great GF option if traveling through Union station
Yes
Very nice. Gluten free crepes. Seemed to be a dedicated station; but I didn’t ask. I am super sensitive and I didn’t have any reaction! Lots of options and toppings. Made while you watch.
