Crepelicious

I had known about this place for a while but no reason to head over this way to give it a try. With my best friend a non celiac visiting and looking for a casual cafe atmosphere for an early dinner we headed over arriving in the 4pm hour on a weeknight during the 1st week of January. The shop was not very busy and boasts savory and sweet crepes, hot and cold beverages(teas, coffee, espresso drinks), and their own creation in shop sliced(no gf) and to order whole(reg and gf) crepe layered cakes. Small but warm and inviting space with friendly staff. They have regular, gf, and buckwheat crepe options with gf and buckwheat incurring an extra fee of $1.50 to order. I ordered the swiss mushroom spinach tomato and bacon crepe and hibiscus tea. The crepe had a slightly chewy texture but tasted delicious ie couldn’t tell it wasn’t terribly fake in my opinion as some gf goods do. I am so happy to have found this place and can’t wait for my next visit. No reactions for this girl with celiac and that makes me very happy. Wish I had the space to stomach a sweet crepe during my visit but I will be back for one next time. My non celiac friend liked her regular crepe off the specials board which was one with chicken I think Tuscan chicken but found it tasty regardless of the name.

The staff was very helpful and kind about CD and the crepes were FANTASTIC! I’ve had no bad after effects, so I think they did a great job, like they said. French Toast crepes...so good!!! A little pricey but well worth it!

Wow! This place is awesome. I had the 🍎 crisp crepe. The owner showed me the oats she used to make me feel comfortable that they were certified oats. I get very ill even with small amounts of cross contamination so I was nervous as it is on a shared element but I had no issues at all. She made sure it was cleaned very well.. I will be returning soon..

Found this place because of my gluten allergy! Just perfect. Banana Foster Crepe is of another world.

The gf crepes are so good! You can get anyone you want. I got the special: fig, bacon and Brie done perfectly! I will definitely go back.

Amazing! They can make any crepe GF for you! It's so cute inside too! I got the caprese crepe and it was delicious.

I just had a Bananas Foster Gluten Free crepe at Crepelicious in Barrington. So delicious. Friendly staff, very nice atmosphere and Free wifi. This place is becoming my favorite place to hang out now.They are open everyday from 11am to 9pm.
