This cute restaurant next to the Community Market in downtown Lynchburg has salads, grain bowls and wraps (don’t think these are GF) along with a juice bar. In theory there are lots of GF, vegetarian and vegan menu options. They prepare your order down the counter line so you can see what’s being added. I ordered a Zen bowl which is essentially a salad with quinoa added and was able to easily make a few modifications. The medium size is substantial but you can upgrade to a large if you want a huge amount of food. You can also build your own combo from a lot of ingredient options.

I say “in theory” above because none of their menu was marked with allergen info and the employees didn’t seem very informed on the subject. Given I was mostly getting raw veggies I felt like it was a reasonably safe gamble for myself. It would be nice and relatively easy for them to mark which items were GF so folks wouldn’t have to guess on ingredients like quinoa or salad dressings. They weren’t able to confirm which salad dressings were GF but the employee did name a few she was sure was GF so I went with one of those and crossed my fingers.

I give it a 5 for tastiness, availability of healthy options, speed and value. But for those who are highly sensitive to gluten I’d recommend doing some further research to confirm GF options and cross contamination procedures and for that reason I ultimately gave them 4 stars.
