When I asked if they didn’t mind changing their gloves to make my plain cheese burger because I am celiac, and I further explained I have a severe gluten allergy, the lady who took my order looked at me sideways; like I was so much trouble. I told her about the other reviewer’s experience and how their restaurant had good reviews for the catering to those having gluten allergies. All she told me “ the buns are gluten free and they’re in a bag” that’s what we do and that’s it. She did end up telling the cook “That lady said she wants you to change your gloves before cooking her burger” and then proceeded to shrug. I’m really not sure if I’m going to brave eating this but if I do, I’ll let you know how it goes! Just be prepared to be somewhat chastised for being difficult!

I asked if the fries were gluten free and if there was a dedicated fryer. They said no so I was thankful that they knew I couldn’t eat the fries. The gluten free bun comes in a package and you have to assemble your burger it also came with a personal Heinze mustard and Helmanns mayonnaise, both are gluten free.
For a full gluten free menu go on their website and they can accommodate the major allergens. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the burger. It was very good, probably the best fast food burger I’ve had, it reminded me of Smash burger before I went gluten free. I had the burger and a Root Beer Float.
Staff was friendly.

The manager here was very knowledgeable and helpful, and on his own went back to the kitchen himself to talk to the staff to make sure they handled our order properly.

They have sealed udi's buns that it's my understanding they make your burger all except the bun then give it to you to unwrap and assemble with the gluten free bun still sealed
While this would possibly work for someone that has a sensitivity. This is not a place you would want to eat if you are celiac . The fries are dropped in the same oil that everything else is. As if one time wasn’t enough, I had gone another time after and just got a chicken breast and sure enough , cross-contact and had touched gluten. Strongly advise against for celiac

They tried. Spoke to the manager, she took the proper steps notating my order and notifying the kitchen, and yet, here we are.
Bun came in its own packaging, so cross-contamination must have occurred.
Definitely not Celiac safe.
I eat at Culvers often when I am in Bowling Green and Somerset. When I order the Gluten Free they always ask if it is an alergen or a preference. The cook always changes gloves and I adore the heated bun in a separate package.

This Midwest style restaurant has incredible burgers and sandwiches! Salads can be made GF and they have great GF buns. As always let the staff know that you have an allergy and this is not a preference.
