Cupcake Charlie's

This is my go to cupcake shop in the plymouth area. They are the closest to a regular cupcake and not all dense and heavy like most gf baked goods.

— No gluten-free information on the menu

How much of the menu is available gluten-free?

— Most/All

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

They technically offer gf items on Fridays, but honestly the quality and taste are dog shit. I just go to Sweet Sense instead of Cupcake Charlies if i want a baked good.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Poor

I went in on a Saturday and they had a few GF options. I got a trifle and a chocolate chip cookie. The trifle was totally gross and I threw it out. Might be GF but EW. Just because I can’t eat gluten doesn’t mean I will eat something horrible! Chocolate chip cookies were pretty good! Stay away from GF cupcakes but you’ll be fine with the cookies.

Safe but just ok for flavor and freshness.

Had two different cupcakes, the double chocolate and the Boston cream. Toss up on which was better because they were both fantastic! Two enthusiastic thumbs up!!

Only on Friday, gf cupcakes. Not a dedicated gf bakery. They try to have gf cake cups others days of the week. I stumbled across them on a Friday! Woohoo!
