Cupprimo - Cupcakery & Coffee Spot

I've been eating here for years, and they have always had GF cupcakes. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Variety of GF flavors each day, both regular and mini cupcakes, kept in a completely separate case, and clearly labeled when placed in to-go boxes. They do custom GF cakes as well. There espresso bar drinks and Italian sodas are delicious as well!

Celiac daughter LOVES their cupcakes, never had a reaction. If you need more than 1 or 2 cupcakes be sure to order ahead, but they usually have at least a couple in the (separate) case. Good coffee too.

If I could give this place zero stars I would in a heartbeat!!!! Not only are there very few cupcakes in general they don’t bother to change their gloves before touching gf cupcakes... they placed our cupcakes on FILTHY plates!!! They don’t follow any normal food handling practices, it was awful! I got very sick and on top of it the cupcakes aren’t worth a penny they are super dry and hard!!

They are not gluten free. I was badly glutened by part of a cupcake that was labeled gluten free. I called the owner to let her know. She had no interest and changed nothing.

The cupcakes are fantastic,but the gluten free ones are not celiac safe. I kept trying, but more than once (and I can verify the source was from no where else), i had a celiac reaction. It was small, but it definitely was not celiac safe. Too bad. I suspect that any bakery that also has wheat flour would never be celiac safe (they do claim to keep everything separate and clean), but I was hopeful. I had to take my activated charcoal pills to reduce my symptoms after eating my cupcake yesterday.

My only option now is my own baking or try fully GF bakeries.

Best cupcakes in Austin! When I found out I needed to eliminate wheat & gluten from my diet I was so sad, especially because cupprimos is so good! But their gluten free cupcakes are amazing, just as good as their regular cupcakes and just as moist and fluffy! Better than any others I've had. Added bonus: everyone who works there is super nice and very friendly! Sometimes if you go right before close, they even do a 2 for 1 deal because they sell fresh cupcakes so they need to get rid of them.

Cupcake are so soft and delicious. With multiple, unique flavors and great texture. The staff are kind and the drinks are great too!

This is not a designated gluten free facility as I assumed from reading the reviews. Make sure you ask for the gluten free cupcakes! We walked in and there were only a few choices so we assumed it was all GF...this is not the case. They were out of GF cupcakes so I don't know how good they were.

Amazing gluten free cupcakes and good coffee! You can't even tell that the cake is gf... they really got their recipe right!! Tried a strawberry cupcake and a chocolate with peanut butter frosting cupcake. Both delicious but the strawberry, with real fruit pieces inside, was my favorite!! Worth driving out of the way for!
