We offer chocolate and vanilla cupcakes every day. Occasionally we will have a seasonal gluten-free item (like our pumpkin roll in the fall) which we will post about. We can offer other gluten-free flavors (like strawberry, caramel, cheesecake, chocolate peanut butter, etc.) by special order as well as gluten-free cakes.
We do not have a designated gluten-free area in our kitchen, however, each time we make out gluten-free cupcakes we clean our entire kitchen first. This process involves wiping down the counters and mixers multiple times, as well as changing aprons and rags. We then inspect the kitchen and all the supplies we will use to bake the cupcakes to ensure that we have not missed anything. Once the cupcakes are baked, they are stored away from our regular cupcakes in order to prevent mix-ups or cross-contamination.
One of our owners has a gluten allergy and was the one to set up this process. Having been a victim of cross-contamination at other bakeries, she takes many precautions to prevent it from ever happening in our kitchen.
