Review of Da Gennaro

Worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. Let me preface this by saying I have dined here since before I went g-free, since 2008, and I loved it. On Saturday, while dining there with my boyfriend, our waitress refused to wait on us after we didn't order drinks (we were going out for margaritas after and didn't want wine). She literally did not return to our table for the entire meal. When she finally returned with our check...she asked me when "I was due." I am clearly not pregnant, I wear a size 4 and I had a tight dress on; she was just being rude. When I replied that I was not, she laughed and said "Oh it's been a long weekend." Not only was the service terrible, but I was outright fat-shamed by a waitress who was 100% unapologetic about it. I will never be back.
