Review

We decided to go to this place after reading some reviews we found in Google, but unfortunately our experience was a total disappointment.

Let me start with the good part of our visit, which is the very friendly staff and a nice decoration they have in the restaurant.

Now let me share with you the bad part and the really bad part of our visit.

Let's begin with the tables which are very small in an extremely crowded space. Literally my head was touching the head of the person behind me all the time (COVID SAFE).

There's also not enough space to place all the food that you order in such a small table for a party of five.

The bread was cold and hard and the food was definitely the poorest rated among all the Italian restaurants we have visited in the many years we've been traveling to New York (overated prices) but it's New York.

Now let get into the really bad part of our visit...

My daughter has celiac disease which means she can not have any gluten at all, or otherwise she can get really sick as soon as her digestion starts.

This is something that we explained to our waiter, who very confidently said there was nothing to worry about. He even said that they always made sure no cross contamination happened with the gluten food options they cooked (Pasta. meat and Pizza).

Considering past experiences that we've had in other restaurants I insisted that my daughter had a condition and, it was extremely important to have no cross contamination or other wise she would get really sick. The waiter (Elvis) insisted again there was nothing to worry about.

When the Pizza came my wife asked to my daughter if the pizza was ok (since the look of it was not of a gluten free kind pizza) and my daughter only said that it was really good, but she also mentioned that it tasted different.

We called the waiter one more time and asked if he was 100% sure that the pizza was gluten free and he once again insisted that there was nothing to worry about.

Short story, two hours later my daughter got really sick and she couldn't sleep all night because of the lack of interest that the staff of the restaurant gave to our daughters condition. Fortunately for persons who have the disease, after the gluten gets out of their body, they usually feel better right away.

Today we called the place to let them know what happened and the only thing they said was that they where very sorry, but the unfortunately they where very busy that night.

After that answer we got, honestly there's nothing else to say and it's pretty clear they don't give a sh#%t.
