I ordered Glutenburg IPA. Didn’t look like there were any GF food options when I went by— the menu had the gf=gluten free key at the bottom, but nothing was labeled gf. Maybe they didn’t have anything they could guarantee lack of CC for?

I spoke with a bartender who seemed well informed about celiac. He said the glutenburg is served from cans because they can’t guarantee lack of CC from the lines, though he said they flush the lines between kegs. As someone newly diagnosed, I wasn’t aware this was a thing to watch for, and I respected the honesty. It did look like ciders at least are on draft, so it might be good to avoid those or ask about what was on the same tap before. He poured from the can in front of me, and I’m sure he would have given me the can instead if I preferred.

Overall, I’m happy to be able to get a decent drink at this bar I already liked for dates or outings with friends. Good ambiance, lots of cute dogs around. Bring snacks just in case through!
