I visited in person in September 2021 to order takeout. When I asked about gluten free options the woman at the front desk rolled her eyes and told me that most of their meals are custom made and not good for those eating gluten free (you would think custom made would make it easier?). She seemed annoyed at the request and I almost left based on that interaction, however I didn’t have another plan for dinner for my family in place so we went ahead and ordered. I was able to get some very simple (and very small) tuna maki rolls and salmon maki rolls as well as the gf miso soup and shishito peppers. I was told the dumplings are not gluten free, despite some other reviews on here saying they are. Gf soy sauce was available though I was only given two small packets, wish I had checked as this was not enough. So while I was able to get some basic gf Japanese food here and did not get sick, overall it was not a good experience.

Felt comfortable here! Gluten free gyoza, soup, and cucumber rolls served with San-j gluten free tamari in its original bottle. Server knew what was safe and the bill was marked with “gluten allergy.” YUM!

When I asked for gluten free soy sauce, the server pointed out everything else that wasn't gluten free - thing I had been eating for years at other sushi restaurants. I really appreciated his help.
