Daily Scoop in Memorial Union

Even though past reviewers said the staff would use a clean scooper in a fresh container of ice cream, they weren’t willing to today. They said the ice cream would be too hard to scoop if they got a new container. I pushed back (in a kind way) but they wouldn’t do it.

— Poor

Delicious and can’t beat the location! The flavors are clearly marked as gluten free on the tags in the display case and there is a sign that notes you should inform the workers of any allergies etc. The worker opened new containers of ice cream. Overall I was very pleased!

Delicious ice cream! They were very careful about precautions and took my ice cream out from the back and used a clean scoop. There are not many flavors that are marked gluten free although many don’t have wheat (which was confusing), but the flavors were good!

Never had a problem here. Ingredient information is most easily accessed on their website.

They list allergens very clearly on the ice cream flavors, however when I went to place my order and asked to have a clean scooper, I was informed that the only truly gluten free ice cream was vanilla or chocolate. Apparently, even though wheat and gluten were not listed, they are still not gluten free?? I don’t know about others, but I would rather save my money than pay top dollar for vanilla or chocolate I could get at the grocery store.
