This was my favorite meal during our trip to the Black Hills. Items were not well labeled, but our server was knowledgeable about what my wheat allergic child could eat and made sure to clarify things with the kitchen staff/notify them of my son’s allergy. He ended up with steak tips with baked potato. He was also able to eat the bison satay appetizer without the sauce which did contain soy sauce (the waitress knew this off the top of her head). The food was better than most of the other places we ate on this trip.

Have eaten here a couple of times during this trip to South Dakota and the staff is AMAZING about what is safe to eat and the chefs are super careful!!! Highly recommended!!! The lamb can be grilled and not pankoed with no problems!!! They are amazingly awesome and so accommodating for gluten-free menu items!

We were so excited to eat here. Was right beside our hotel. We just were diagnosed with gluten sensitivity so we’re new to what’s got gluten. I told her when we declined bread we can’t have gluten. She brought my salad out with crotons. Steak came with their onions on top. I woke up next morning feeling like death with a terrible migraine read reviews didn’t know onions had gluten but I didn’t eat them how I feel is cause of cross contamination. I wouldn’t recommend for people with celiac or sensitivity they don’t care that we get sick from gluten I won’t be returning. So tired of being treated like this is in our head or it’s such an inconvenience to accommodate us

The staff was knowledgeable and I was given a safe meal, to my knowledge. I am an extremely sensitive celiac and did not get sick. The food just was not great. For the prices I expected it to be amazing but was highly disappointed. I recommend going somewhere else.

Staff knowledgeable-had suggestions on ordering. Several GF voices. Steaks are great.

We enjoyed our meal here. Our server was knowledgeable in the menu items that were GF or that the kitchen staff could alter the preparation to be GF. I had a pan seared walleye that was very good.

I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone with celiac. We made our reservation through open table and specifically said we could not have gluten in the food. We confirmed with the server this requirement and he said they would not serve the steak with their signature fried onions or the steak butter. However, the steak arrived with onions crisps and I refused the steak. The lady (not server) said they would get the steak redone. The “new” steak arrived in a few minutes and looked like the same steak as if they had removed the crisps. Boo!

The waitress was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful - decent GF options, I kept it simple with meat and asparagus - she specifically pointed out that the Three Sister's soup is safe and I appreciated that!!!
They went ABOVE and beyond to make sure my meal was gluten free! I asked for ranch dressing and they told me that their ranch dressing had gluten so they made me a special sauce!!
