Darcy’s has the BEST gluten free bread! I have been wanting a good turkey bacon Swiss sandwich and they delivered!!

I asked if they had a gluten free menu and she said no and moved on with asking about drinks. So I got her attention again and asked her if I could get anything on the regular menu that I could eat. She said “ any of the sandwiches because we have gluten free bread. And our fries are gluten free. Just would have been nice if she would have offered that. Lucky I asked or I wouldn’t have ordered anything. I ordered a grilled chicken on gluten free bread and fries. BOTH EXCELLENT. (They also have gluten free pizza and she said the wings are gluten free)

2021- I’m a Springfield local, and I’m sorry to report that D’Arcy’s has discontinued their GF cheese sauce altogether! For anyone who doesn’t have to eat GFree in your family though, they will LOVE the ponyshoes/horseshoes. (Buffalo Chicken is infamously delicious 5 star). Best to stick with salad if you’re GF.

No gluten free menu, no dedicated gluten free kitchen. There are GF bread options and GF pizza

A lot of the menu could be gluten free good food as well! Very hard to know what can be gluten free though otherwise pretty good!

Gina served us at the bar, she eats gluten free and she is very knowledgeable. They have a dedicated fryer for French fries only, 2 gluten free pizza crusts, one rice flour and one Cauliflower and gluten free bread plus a dedicated toaster. We had their house pizza on the Cauliflower crust which was good but very thin and the smoked Gouda bacon raspberry chipotle apple butter burger on gf bread. Highly recommend!

I was SO nervous as I was placing a carryout order as the bartender did not seem overly knowledgeable and they were super busy. However the bartender got a manager and they checked what I had questions about and said they had a dedicated fryer. Four hours later I am feeling fine and definitely would have reacted by now. Very pleased and happy to have a spot in Springfield when I am there.

Several gf options available and a dedicated fryer for fries. Server took Celiac seriously. Nice low key spot for dinner. I had baked Walleye with shrimp cocktail appetizer for Lent.

In Springfield for the week and had to eat here twice! Cheeseburger was delicious and the GF bread was the best I have had! Separate fryer and waitress was really helpful!

Driving through Springfield and stopped here for son to have one of their amazing Horseshoes. Sadly the cheese sauce is thickened with flour😞. I decided to try the GF pizza. It was so good that I feared it wasn't gluten free. Happy to say I did not get sick, it's just really good GF pizza. Can't wait to go back to Darcy's next trip to Springfield.

I just got off the phone with the manager, he assured me that their french fry fryer IS dedicated, they make something called a Horseshoe that uses lots of fries, so that's all it does. He spent a good amount of time assuring me of their food handling practices (waitress alerts the manager there is a food allergy) and even invited me to come to their sister restaurant, III Tomasso's Italian Bistro at 1130 Legacy Pt, Springfield, IL where there are even more GF options. When I come to visit, I will certainly give it a try!

I tried ordering some fries as a snack here but when I talked to the manager she said that not only was the frier regularly used for breaded items (despite supposedly being dedicated) but also nothing else would really be safe to eat.

Great meal options and service! I had a cheeseburger with no bread, french fries (dedicated fryer) and coleslaw. Just what I needed after my first half marathon!!

Very good and accommodating. Server checked to be sure the muffuletta would be safe. It was very good.

The gfree BBQ pizza is sooo good. Whenever I have had a question a manager has always come out and are very helpful. I would give it 10 stars.

friendly staff, make sure you ask about the salads & if they can make it wo croutons & that they know it's critical & you need to order something else if they can't make it wo croutons.

This restaurant does not have an actual hard copy gluten free menu, but the cooks and management are very knowledgeable. Available options are gf pizza, burgers, chicken and a dedicated fryer for french fries!
