This place offers a wide variety of foods that are gluten free. The areas are kept clean, and the food containers are separated enough to where there’s little chance for different foods to be mixed causing contamination. They have soft serve ice cream for dessert as well.

They do have a gluten free menu but do not prepare food separately. I do have Celiac disease and have ate their twice now and have not gotten sick. I order the baked turkey, green beans and carrots. Even though I know they don't prepare food separately, I still let the server know of my allergies and they inform the kitchen to do their best in being careful. I do ask the server to always put gloves on when he/she brings my meal and they are willing to comply.

We enjoyed lunch at Das Dutchman Essenhaus. I had turkey with mashed potatoes and green beans. The food was very good. They offer several GF choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner and even desserts! There’s a gift shop with a large variety of locally handmade items and other items for sale. I highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Gluten free menu includes a disclaimer about potential cross contact in shared kitchen. Due to COVID, not everything on the GF menu was available. “Sandwiches” were meat and condiments on a plate. No GF bread available. Server not informed of celiac precautions. I had roast beef “sandwich” with a side of carrots. Meh.

I ordered grilled chopped sirloin and it was delicious! I’m not celiac, but gluten intolerant.

They don’t have a separate menu for dairy free. Had to ask a lot of questions, but they did go and check for me.

I eat here every time we are in town, about twice a year. The food is delicious. It does not have a separate kitchen, but they do a great job. Servers are very knowledgeable.

We have a family Christmas here every year and I’ve gotten sick the last two years from items on their GF menu. The GF menu is “no gluten added” with a disclaimer that all the same dishes/utensils are used. There is no spectate prep area. If you are Celiac or extremely sensitive, I don’t recommend it. If you aren’t you won’t be disappointed in your meal.

I also had the grilled cheese with mushrooms. Added a side of mashed potatoes and green beans for a wonderful meal! Would be nice if they had dessert options besides ice cream.

pretty extensive menu lots of gfree options. I had the grilled chicken smothered in Swiss cheese and mushrooms with bacon and it was really good.
