Visited for a work function, otherwise I normally just steer clear of Italian restaurants. The salads had been pre made with croutons, when I asked for one without, the waitress went to the side of the room and removed them with her bare hands and brought me the salad. ☹ it was wilty, so that made it easier not to eat. The gf penne was lackluster and the primavera sauce was so bland with not enough veg. If I’d been paying for the food myself I would have complained, but surrounded by my co-workers, I just dealt with it. Overall I would say that the staff has no idea about allergens and I will not be returning. Spent the night with major gas and inflammation. A minor reaction, but a reaction nonetheless. If you’re really hankering for Italian, travel the 45 min to Wilton to Calzolaios where they ask if you are celiac and your food comes out with a special pick in it indicating that it has been prepared gf!

The gluten-free pizza was delicious.
This restaurant recently got rid of their GF menu, but our waitress was pretty knowledgable and checked with the kitchen about the sauces that she wasn't sure about. Tasty meal!
The restaurant itself is great, but it is not Celiac friendly at all. The waitress even said that when I asked about gluten free options. They can substitute pasta with a gluten free penne and she wasn't sure about sauces. They do have a gluten free pizza, but she warned me that cross contamination could be an issue even with the pizza.
The menu did not list any gluten-free items. The waitress said that gluten-free penne may be substituted for other pastas. She also said that she would check with the kitchen to be sure sauces were gluten-free. When it was time to order, the waitress apparently never did check with the kitchen, so I had a steak. This restaurant is not that gluten-free friendly. And certainly the waitress was not gluten free knowledgeable.

Great food and good selection of gf
A little pricey, but very tastey! I highly recommend the lunch menu, very good value!
