The atmosphere is amazing here. On the bay, palm trees and a playground for the kids. There is a GF menu too. I ordered the Chicken Paloke and it was delicious!

We decided to try this place because we loved it before our daughter was diagnosed. Their “allergen menu” states that all “gluten free” items are fried in the same oil and same fryer as the gluten containing things so it was a hard no for my daughter.
The waiter was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. He was the first (and only) one I’ve met yet who actually knew that using the same fryers and oils meant she couldn’t eat it.
When he realized she wanted one of those kids drinks in a fishbowl - he ran to the back to find the bottle of grenadine to check the ingredients because I said I didn’t know if it was GF or not. The bottle did not state, so he brought her a fruit punch in the fancy fish bowl instead!

I have been to the Lazy Lizard several times over the past few years, and I have never had issues with cross contamination. I always get a burger or a chicken sandwich and their mixed greens on the side (their balsamic dressing is fantastic btw)! My meals have always been wonderful and I will continue to go back. Amazing drink menu as well!

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant and after I left too 😳😳😳 I had read a review on Yelp that said they were very knowledgeable of gluten allergies and it looked like they had a great view of the bay so I chose this place, huge mistake. The have a gluten friendly menu but we’re out of about 95% of it and I ended up having two options and chose a chicken club sandwich with avocado on a gluten free bun. The taste was sub par and the price was outrageous. By the time we made it home I realized something was off and there was definite cross contamination. I spent the rest of the night horrifically sick like I had food poisoning. Do not come here, if you have anything more than a GF diet preference it is not safe!!! 🙅🏼♀

This place was great! They had a full gluten free menu along with gluten free buns! They also had a list of which foods had different top allergens. There were quite a few gluten options!! I got a burger with a Gf bun, it was delicious!! I don’t think they have different fryers so I kept it safe with a side salad. They are dog friendly and even came out with a bone on a little appetizer plate for the puppies! The wait staff were lovely and the outdoor area had fans and mist blowing so it was nice and cool! It was a great place! 😊🐾

The worst. They made an error on a gf order that was bizarre. The manager came out apologized. It was replated but I know they didn’t use new meat even after their error. Caused illness. Do not go here if you can’t eat gluten. Please train staff. It really affects people.

We called ahead of time and were told they have a separate GF menu. When we got there nobody had any idea what I was talking about. After scanning our covid menu and looking on our phone for about 20 minutes, server found an allergen list and almost everything they offer was not available GF. And their steamer was broken so the few things we could get were not available. They do not have a dedicated fryer so skipped the fries and got the seasonal vegetable....they gave me lettuce. I'm not kidding.

All I know is I got sick after eating there. The menu is pretty limited since the fryer is not separate. Had the bacon cheeseburger on a gf bun and I started reacting about 20 minutes after eating. I won’t be back

Scenery cannot be beat. Items are clearly marked with a “gf”
Advertised GF menu so asked the host stand for a copy and they told me someone would be right over. That person came over and I asked what on the menu was gluten free and she said there isn’t actually a separate menu but told me they had GF rolls and asked if I had any questions. I told her I hadn’t looked at the menu yet because I thought there was something separate and she told me she would be back. She never came back.
Great place to come with your kids since there is a huge playground. They had GF buns and many options.
