Having grown up not gf, I have fond memories of going to the bakery and getting a treat on occasion. Being gluten free and my child as well, it is such a blessing to see her eyes light up when we get to visit a bakery and one that was very close to our visit to see family. Love the dedicated separate room for display, separate containers and labels for dairy free as well. They also have a very good description of what they do for cross contamination on their website.

I went here years ago and had the most amazing gluten free cinnamon rolls. I’ve been searching for it every time I’ve visited PA and have not been able to find those cinnamon rolls. Well, I noticed the shop when visiting the Boy Scout camp ground nearby this weekend and stopped by to check it out. Alas, they did not have the cinnamon rolls as it was around 7 pm Friday night and they had sold out. However, I did get a couple muffins,lemon raspberry and strawberry, and they were amazing. I will be stopping by Sunday morning as I leave camp. Fingers crossed I can get those cinnamon rolls I’ve been looking for. Also, for gluten free the price is great. Slightly more than their regular items but not the huge markup we are used to, I definitely appreciate that.

Huge case of gf goodies, as well as a separate area with gluten-y treats. I had a broccoli cheddar breakfast muffin, an apple “danish” and the world’s largest mug of tea, and bought a double chocolate muffin, a pumpkin roll, and quiche to go. Loved it all, loved the friendly baristas. My husband is a coffee snob, but he enjoyed his cappuccino and his gluten-y muffins, especially the peach one.

What a pleasant experience I have had here both during my first visit 4 years ago and my subsequent visits this week. The atmosphere is wonderful and the batista girls are so personable. I'm a coffee snob, and their lattes are delicious. Likewise, I have been Celiac for over 7 years and as such am an experienced gluten free diner. I felt safe and confident in the precautions taken here. I have never become sick and after meeting the owner today, I can say with conviction that this is an upstanding small business deserving your patrinage.

A fabulous find!! Traveling with my super-sensitive Celiac husband.The display case was packed with delicious-looking breakfast biscuits, sticky cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, cookies. I've been diagnosed with Celiac for nearly 10 years. I know my GF baked goods. This is one of the top 3 bakeries I have ever been to. DELICIOUS is really all I can say. HUGE selection, even more than bakeries that are dedicated GF. I almost never will chance a bakery that isn't dedicated GF because of the significant risk of CC, but Deja Brew knows that they're doing. GF was in a separate case in a separate room and prepared in a separate area after double cleaning. And if that doesn't sell you, THE COFFEE SYRUPS ARE GLUTEN FREE. SO MANY LATTE OPTIONS. I finally got a seasonal latte after nearly 10 years without!!!! They brew Chesapeak Bay coffee, which is delicious all on its own. But being able to get excited about fun flavors for lattes really changed the game for me. This is definitely a new favorite and worth the 1.5 hour drive from Maryland.

It’s one of those places that just makes you happy! So many delicious options. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese muffin for breakfast and took peach and apple danishes, sausage, egg and cheese muffin for tomorrow’s breakfast, and several delicious goodies to take with me in my travels. FYI-it’s in the same building with a regular bakery so be sure you go in the one on the right. Enjoy!

Wow! This bakery was an amazing find! We took a drive here while staying in Gettysburg, and we are so glad we did. They have all gluten free items in a separate room and separate case. Really impressed with this coffee shop! All the gluten free items are in a display case in a separate room from the main display case (with gluten containing desserts). There was a huge selection to pick from. We had scones, cupcakes, and a cake roll and everything was really great! We were staying in Gettysburg and it was around a 15 minute drive out but well worth it.
