Staff and chefs very knowledgeable in preparation and importance of food being gluten-free with zero cross-contamination. The service and attention to detail could use improvement for the prices charged by this restuarant. One of our diners ordered a meal with french fries and received mashed potatoes. The situation was corrected. My meal had cold mashed potatoes served, The waiter was very polite and knowledgable but did not actually serve our meals, for a restaurant at this price range one could expect that the waiter would verify each diner's meal for quality and accuracy before having it served. Overall the food was good but not at the outstanding level and only average for the prices charged.

Derek has amazing food, period. If you still wish to experience fine dining, while eating gluten free, then Derek's will not disappoint.

Often times one must sacrifice taste to eat a truly gluten free meal. This is not the case there. My wife who has Celiac's Disease has eaten at Derek's on numerous occasions, and never experienced a twinge.

We like it so much, we chose to have our 10th wedding anniversary dinner at Derek's.
