The staff was really educated about gluten and celiac and told me which menu items to avoid, and also made sure I knew not to eat the hoisin sauce or the banh quay (fried donut) that came with the pho, or anything fried. I ate the banh trang nuong Nam (grilled rice paper) and the pho thin, along with the ca phe trung martini. Everything was very delicious. I felt really confident, so I was really surprised that I got very sick! Maybe some kind of cross contamination? Vietnamese food is usually a safe food for me, so I was very disappointed. Might’ve been a fluke, hopefully others have better experiences!
