I called ahead and spoke to the manager about whether or not they could prepare food cross contamination-free for someone with celiac disease. He said they have people with celiac disease that eat there all the time. Although the fryer is shared. I asked if they put bread or wheat on the grill. He said they do and will “brush off” the grill and gave a snide remark that this is a restaurant so of course they have wheat on the grill. He said that they don’t have to change their gloves or utensils because it’s “only a little wheat” that gets transferred. I said, well, I guess I don’t need to eat there then.
