Dicastro's Brick Oven Pizza

Updated 2024: GF items are clearly marked and staff is very knowledgeable. They make their own pasta and have a lot of selections! I was told the chef is GF. If you miss Italian food, definitely check out Dicastros

Amazing selection of GF options, some I have never saw on a GF menu before; pretty much any Italian dish you can think of! Pizza is not available, since they make theirs in the brick oven. Staff seemed to be familiar with gf. I ordered Eggplant Parmesan and unfortunately I was not impressed, the dish was lacking in flavor. I have heard from others that they have the same opinion of the sauce. The big component is I did not get sick so i would say they are a safe dining option.

Ordered for carry out. Food was extremely disappointing. I ordered the gluten free lasagna. Menu says it has meat in it and four cheese. I found very little meat and just a go of cheese on the top that seemed like mozzarella. No ricotta. My husband ordered the chicken sausage jumbalaya pasta gluten free. All the pasta was mushy overcooked yucky.

This place is a must go for gf! They make their own gf pasta, with many options beyond penne. I had a lobster Mac and cheese with gf cavatelli! It came out in its own skillet, clearly marked gf. They also offer gf dessert options. I had the white chocolate cake with strawberry filling and cannoli frosting. Definitely going back again!!!

This is my favorite local restaurant. The gf rice balls and the haddock française are amaaaaazing. There’s an extensive gf pasta menu. All of it is great.

Great food. House made GF pasta. Dedicated fryers.

The gluten free menu is unlike most in that it actually has choices besides meat and salad! Four types of gf pasta! Not just penne but rigatoni, linguini, and lasagne! That’s right, GF LASAGNE that tastes fabulous! Gf fried mozzarella! GF rice balls, chicken parm, and eggplant parm! Yay!
