It was a beautiful April day, and we sat outside in the courtyard. My GF sister had the GF pork and I had a GF salad with steak. My non GF husband had a meal he enjoyed too. My sister really enjoyed their own GF beer. While in Vienna, she was excited to find the same beer at another restaurant.

They have gluten free options listed in the menu and have a really great tasting gluten free beer option.
No gluten related issues after consuming food and beer.

Fantastic place to visit if you are in Salzburg! The vibe in here is fantastic, full of locals enjoying their evening eating and drinking along with visitors like us too. Really comfortable place to spend an evening. Bit times we visited there was nowhere to sit but the great bar staff soon sorted that and squeezed us in.
The food is very tasty and the GF beer is unreal! 🍺

The GF a beer was outstanding ( which is almost impossible to find in most of Germany) and the roasted pork with potatoes was great as well.

As a person with Celiac disease, I was soooo happy to find this restaurant thanks to your site. It was fantastic! It is a happening place full of locals, foreign students and great servers. Their own brewed GF beer is delicious and safe. I went back the next night for more beer and delicious local GF specialties.

Really enjoyed being able to eat out at a Austrian Biergarten. I had the roast pork with the potatoes with the potato dumpling, no reaction. They changed this automatically when I asked it to be gluten free. Gluten free beer was very good. First one in 10 years.

Gluten free beer!!
The highlight of course was being able to have the wit beir however the roast pork was also delicious, lots of people drinking the GF beer in the garden so I think they have lots of experience accommodating GF diet. The down side is there are only a few options on the food menu.

They don’t even acknowledge you want a table and without an Austrian telephone number you can’t even make a reservation. Hard pass.
We stopped here twice during our visit. One celuac and three regulars. The first time I ordered the ofenfrisches schweinsbratl im weissbiersaftl (oven roasted pork in gluten free beer) instead of dumplings they serve roasted potatoes and sourkraut. Very good. No issues or reactions so went back the next night and had the weisswurst-erdäpfelgröstl (sliced sausages, potatoes, onions cooked skillet style) with kraut another tasty meal. No reactions or issues. Very good food, publike, friendly staff willing to listen and make recommendations.

This place is amazing!! The menu is well-marked and the staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. They brew their own GF beer, and it's SO good. Their beer sauce is even GF. Highly recommend.

Wonderful, food is wow, service is great and it’s pretty fast. I had the gluten free beer and the pork with potatoes in a gluten free beer sauce and just wow. It’s not often you get GF comfort food and a good selection too. Good thing calories do not count while on vacation.

I was a little disappointed by my experience here, but still giving it 4 stars because it’s a good option if you’re in Salzburg. The menu has a lot of options labeled gluten free. When I asked if everything was safe for someone with an allergy, the staff said there would be cross contamination issues with everything except the salads and 2 other choices on the menu. I got the chicken salad and it was delicious! I didn’t end up trying the beer.

Gluten free beer was awesome. Waitress knowledgeable about gluten free. Ate a frankfurter with goulash, no bread. It was traditional Austrian food and delicious.

I'm not sure about their food because we came here for the beer garden. They make their own gluten free wheat beer (the gluten is removed) and it is amazing. I haven't had wheat beer in years, so coming here was an experience. They have a huge beer garden, several indoor dining rooms, and a dance floor/club for the late night. Enjoy!
