I have ordered gf food three times off the special gluten free menu. Food is great never have been sick and I’m very sensitive. Love love the fact that I am able to eat gf egg rolls!

I haven’t had Chinese food in years and I was beyond impressed by how delicious the chicken and broccoli was! I ordered for delivery and they packed everything gluten-free separately and even labeled the packaging. Can’t wait to try more gluten-free options!

I have Celiac disease and haven’t been able to eat Chinese food in years! Last night that changed, I enjoyed shrimp fried rice and was so pleased I did not get sick! I was I’ll definitely be back soon. Thank you Dim Sum II for making me happy!

Had an unfortunate experience here on Christmas and pretty sure I was glutened. They didn’t know how to fix online ordering system so a big crowd was waiting for food that was indicated to be ready in 40 min when in reality was a 2-hour wait. I finally got my food, went home and they had given me a wrong bag so my GF meal was not included. Called them, went back, got home and had chicken instead if shrimp, and white rice instead of brown rice. Not sure if I received a gluten-free version of my meal as I was not well that evening. Saw so many good reviews and was looking forward to having Chinese food as there are not many options, but this is not the place.

I'm so sad. I have gone here safely for at least 5 years. My last two orders, I was glutened both times. The first I thought was a fluke, because it's Dim Sum. But no fluke the second time.

Chinese takeout that’s gluten-free! They have homemade pork dumplings and many other options. Everything GF made in a special area. No issues at all. I will be coming back soon!

This place is a Gem!! I have no GF Chinese options in Metuchen. Found this place with a GF section on the menu and I was so excited! Drove 40 minutes round trip and it was amazing! Had the pork dumplings and sesame chicken both were delicious! I have celiac and did not have a problem. Even my non GF family loved the food! Can’t wait to to go back!!

Great selection of gluten free products for people with Celiac disease, such as myself and daughter. The employees were highly educated and knowledgeable about ensuring the items on their gluten-free menu contained products free from any cross-contamination. We ordered several gluten free and dairy free items (my daughter is also allergic to dairy) and had no problems whatsoever. The food was delicious and authentic! Will be returning soon!

The food here was so good! GF egg drop soup, pork dumplings, sesame shrimp and crispy beef with mango were all delicious. Waiter confirmed soy sauce and each item were gluten free. We did have to remind him that we were gf when he brought fortune cookies, so don't assume. That's the only reason we marked it as unsure vs Celiac friendly. I recommend verifying since it has both gf and non-gf foods. But we would definitely come back.

I've come here for many years and always get the gluten free sesame chicken... it's perfect! however, they've added gluten free steamed pork dumplings and they are exactly how I remember them. amazing! they also have a fairly comprehensive gluten free menu that uses gluten free soy sauce and offers authentic alternatives.

this is my favorite Chinese place! crispy sesame chicken with perfect sauce all gluten free. you just look at the menu and items are clearly marked if they are available gluten free. Not fancy dining but comfortable fast service and a clear understanding of gluten free. A regular spot for my husband and I. he gets their gluten free shrimp mei fun.

Oh, we love it here! Just your typical comfy, local, Chinese joint...but with great gf options, and friendly service! The place hasn't been redecorated in decades, and that adds to its charm. I have tried many gf dishes, and they've all been great...and fresh. My favorites are the sesame chicken, and chicken with broccoli. We also have gotten delivery from here and it's always fast. We love Dim Sum II!

Not only does this place have a lot of gluten free dishes available, but they have awesome gluten free available. This was the first time since being diagnosed with Celiac disease that I have had Chinese food and I could not tell that it was gluten free. I had the general tso's and it has a breaking on it and is fried just like the gluten version. I was nervous at first - felt too good to be true. It wasn't too good to be true. I always get very sick even after a bite of gluten and I am usually in a lot of pain and nothing. It was great. Also, one last note.... The people in the restaurant take great pride in their work. Will be back on my next visit to the Big Apple.

a great find for local gf chinese. the gf chicken and broccoli was mediocre but the gf general tsos was among the best gf tsos i've had anywhere. just had it today for the first time, so i can't say with certainty but it seems to have been safe and gluten free.
