Review of Don Antonio

Don Antonio was well worth the wait! (They don't take reservations and we had to wait 30 minutes as we arrived at a busy time.) The food was very good! We had 2 pizzas and the appetizer mixer. This is hands down the best gluten free pizza that we've had so far. The dough is sooo good. Not too thick, not too thin, nice and chewy. My mouth waters thinking about it. My daughter and I had to eat quickly as we were rushing to make it to a Broadway show, otherwise we would've taken our time and savor the experience more. We were happy she could experience Friday Night Pizza Night in NYC.

The waitress was very kind and knowledgeable. She mentioned our GF food would take a little longer as it is prepared by a dedicated chef in a separate area of the kitchen, separate everything, to avoid cross contamination. The food did not come out marked but after I asked once for confirmation, each time the serving staff brought out a dish they would confirm, "yes, this is gluten free."

Adding to my favorites! I'm off to check the website to see if they ship frozen pizzas!
