Drove about 45 minutes to get here based on the reviews on this app. Unfortunately my experience was very different from all the rest. Our server basically rolled her eyes when I asked her what was gluten free. I was told that I could have corn tortillas. I asked about the chicken dishes and the chips and she couldn't have been less helpful. I was a huge inconvenience. I showed her the reviews on here and asked if she could either ask someone or send out a different server who had more knowledge. She told me "they will all say the same thing" then walked off with a huge attitude and another big eye roll. Next thing I know someone appearing to be the manager (maybe, but never introduced himself) comes out. He says he cannot recommend anything and the chips are fried in the same oil as the chicken wings. I did end up ordering a chicken dish which seemed ok, but it always feels awful to be treated like an unwanted burden. My husband and I were looking so forward to a nice lunch at this cute restaurant. Just wanted to warn others.

Saw the recent reviews of this place on here and took the chance. Was not disappointed at all! I went with my husband and parents and we sat outside on the patio overlooking Lake Jackson. The service was great, drinks were excellent, and the food was delicious. Our server knew what items I could and couldn’t have.
A few days later and I haven’t had a reaction so I would definitely go back again!

I love this place! The food, the decor and the people are all wonderful. This restaurant is right on the lake, so nice atmosphere. When I first asked about gluten free, the girls at the front said no, but then they asked a manager and he said yes. I told our server and he knew exactly what I could and could not have. He said the chips are in a dedicated fryer, but he double checked to make sure nothing had changed and they were still separate. So nice to eat chips and salsa out! I got the steak fajitas with corn tortillas of course. The food was so good, I couldn't even finish it all. If we are down this way again, I would definitely come back, wish we had this restaurant where we live.

Good food. There was a choice of corn tortillas with the fajitas.
Both corn and flour tortillas available. The chips they bring to the table are corn. Any menu offering can be adapted for the gluten intolerant. Not all wait staff are aware of what their products are made from.
