Very accommodating with several gluten free options. Dedicated toaster for gluten free breads. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. There is not a GF menu, just ask for the options. We are part time residents of Marco and have never had a reaction.

The food was delicious but I know why… it was not at all GF. I ordered GF waffles and was sick within hours. Very disappointing. It ruined my whole day.

I went to Doreen’s on my vacation I have celiacs disease as there fore my food can not be cross contaminated. Upon arrive I went to the hostess and asked if it is safe and if there is any cross-contamination on any other grills including waffle iron. I was told that they clean everything and there was nothing to worry about. So I made reservations for four people and our wait is 20 minutes. We were seated and when the waitress came and I went to place my order I was told that everything is cross contaminate it and they could not serve me anything but fruit and drinks. Needless to say I was very disappointing. After much discussion with the owner he agreed to clean off part of the grills and make me some very dry pancakes. I won’t be back.

I had eggs, bacon, fruit, and the GF pancake with powdered sugar and syrup without any reaction! They do not have GF toast, but will substitute a GF waffle or pancake instead. Their delicious coffee (from a local roaster) is what makes this place worth the (usually very long) wait.

Great breakfast and they swapped toast for a gluten free pancake even though it was an up charge. Great breakfast.

5yrs ago they would accommodate celiacs and take precautions. After they expanded their space I was told that they use same grill etc and would not take any measures to avoid cross contamination. I haven’t gone back since.

I have been here multiple times. I am an extremely sensitive celiac. They do not mark things GF on their menu, but if you ask them to make gluten free, they will do so. I have gotten both pancakes and waffles there. My favorite are the strawberry Belgian waffles with powdered sugar and whipped cream! Gluten free and tastes AMAZING.

They make an effort to offer GF pancakes, but use a common griddle. We went there for lunch and they just didn’t seem to understand my cross contamination concerns. Language issues may be the primary obstacles here.

Staff knowledgeable but the don’t have anything dedicated to gluten free. Griddles, toasters waffle maker also have gluten items cooked on them. Got oatmeal but pretty sure the package didn’t say gluten free.

Nothing on the menu was celiac friendly - I decided not to order anything other than a quick coffee. It is not a safe environment. I was worried to put my phone on the table.

I ordered breakfast Nachos with so sauces..told the waiter about my GF intolerance and he was so nice and I had a great breakfast. I wish they had more options especially for lunch. No GF bread. 👎

It’s a great restaurant if you just have a gluten intolerance and don’t have to think about cross contamination. We asked the chef what they cook the gf pancakes and waffles on, and he said they are made on the same equipment as the regular pancakes and waffles. NOT good for celiacs. The wheat eaters loved their breakfast.

great service and food, although they offer gluten free pancakes, waffles and bread, THERE IS NOT A DEDICATED WAFFLE IRON OR GRIDDLE.

Everything is cooked together. The waitress couldn't ask the chef to keep my food from touching any wheat containing items. They also use the same waffle press for regular and gluten free waffles. Not worth cross contamination when trying to vacation!

My husband and I just left Doreen's. We had a great experience! I have Celiac Disease and they were accommodating. They had limited options but I had three very large gluten free pancakes (I could only eat two) which were incredible! The decor is adorable too. Thanks for making it so wonderful.
