Ate here a lot post diagnosis and loved it. Just went back with Nima and every single GF item came up with Gluten. They have significant cross contamination issues. Definitely not celiac safe :(

“Fries” are delicious with the chutney dip. Must get!
I also had the vadar sambar, as it was recommended, and it was soooo good. Tons of flavor. Only thing is about halfway through, I was having as my meal but it’s more of a sharing dish, it can start to taste too salty. If it had a smidge less salt it would have been amazing.
They can accommodate a lot of dietary restrictions and what I had was GF Vegan and I had no negative reaction.

All allergens denoted on the menu. Absolutely delicious, great environment, not too loud. Servers are knowledgeable and will note the allergy on the menu just to be sure. Love this place!

Excellent! GF menu. Chennai chicken, masala dosa, paneer and peas uttapam are all delicious! It’s a lil spicy, so a mango lassi is delightful, should you like something to quell the heat

Menu is clearly written to indicate which dishes are gluten-free . The shrimp uttapam was really great! The bar tenders really enjoyed talking about developing the cocktails they serve, and it was a very friendly atmosphere at the bar, where I ate.
GREAT food but risky if you are celiac..Ate there five times, got cc twice. Won't risk it again. I'm really sensitive. They cook the gf dosas on the same grill surface as the wheat pancakes. My server told me that you need to specify you are celiac when ordering gf so they will clean it off.

So tasty and a gluten free menu to boot! I so wanted to put this place on our list of regular resturants but I got home that evening and the iching started. If you are at all sensitive to cross contamination you may want to be careful here. Still it was some of the best indian food we've had for a while.

My dinner was awesome, had the sweet potato dosa. Excellent. Staff great. Not as expensive as I thought. My plate was only $11. Will be back!!!

My absolute favorite restaurant in SF!! So good! And they had a list on hand with info regarding most allergies and what is or isn't in each dish. We eat dairy and gluten free and found so many options on the menu. My favorite is the truffle oil dosa. YUM!
A-MAZE-ING! My favorite place to visit in San Fran. Exceptional food and 90% of southern Indian is gluten free so there are tons of good options!
Mmm. This place is wonderful: special allergen listing, very knowledgable staff and exceptional chefs. I have sorely missed Indian food b/c restaurants in the midwest can't seem to grasp cross-contamination issues. We were only in town for 4 days but went back a second time. Yeah, that good.
The service was good and the food was pretty tasty, but both me and my boyfriend ended up with stomach aches afterwards. I don't necessarily think it was because of gluten cross-contamination because the bf is not Celiac, but the food is REALLY spicy. I don't think I'll be able to eat here again, in spite of its convenient location.
One of our neighborhood favorites. GF menu and great bar.
Great food and cocktails. Gluten free menu.
