Went here for lunch today. I ordered the GF Chili and GF wedge. The waitress and host indicated that they did not have GF bread but could make all sandwiches breadless. My son had the chicken bacon melt with garlic potatoes. We also had 2 drinks- 1 cocktail raspberry mojito and 1 weekend vibes. Bar tender was great and let me check the bottle of sour (GF). Overall a 10/10 experience. Food was fantastic.

A few menu items were marked GF. I had the Jambalaya, which was very good. Waiter didn’t seem very knowledgeable about Celiac/GF but said he would talk to the chef personally to make sure my meal was safe. 24 hours later and I’m feeling great! Will definitely be back!

Very disappointed in my experience. My boyfriend and I went for a tour and thought since we saw all the good reviews we would also make a dinner reservation. I called ahead and they assured me it would be safe for me to eat. I ordered the shrimp tacos plain (as some seasonings can hide gluten). My food came out and the tacos had pico de gallo (which I’m unfortunately also allergic to) alongside with a cup of sauce that was not safe and politely ask them to take the food back as it contained allergen I was allergic to. They proceeded to come back to the table explaining there was no gluten in tomatoes and that I should be fine, even though I explained I was allergic to the pico de gallo. She returned back to the kitchen. The food returned and I could now see that the shrimp was seasoned and not plain. Knowing I was not going to be able to eat this I asked for lemons so my boyfriend could enjoy it. They then returned with limes. I sat there watching my boyfriend eat his food. Not once did our waiter come back to apologize. She simply looked at the untouched plate with wide eyes and proceeded to hand me a box and the check.

Really good food, the jumbalaya is great! Gf menu selection isn’t huge, but pretty decent. I feel safe eating here, the staff is good at answering any questions.

Worth the drive !!! The best place we ate at while in the area. They made walleye gluten free, jambalaya was great and we had the Asian salad.
While they have gf noted on the menu, there are salads and a jambalaya. That’s it. It was an oversell at the door as to options.
Driftless Glen Distillery understands the needs of GF travelers. GF foods on their full menu are clearly marked in the menu and they are happy to take special requests. Their signature brandy old fashion is amazing, the best I've ever had, and they have 4 more to chose from. Daily drink specials except Saturday. Beautiful space, tours, tastings and a deck on the river. There is so much hospitality from the staff: Cara. Cara will make sure your meal is GF.

Great staff, waitress knew the menu well. I was able to get the walleye even though it wasn't listed as gf, at the suggestion of the waitress. I was not disappointed - very tasty! Great atmosphere, too!

Although only a few options, the menu was clearly marked with GF items. The nacho appetizer was great and the salmon was some of the best I have had in a restaurant in a long time. The staff was knowledgeable and accommodating. You won’t be disappointed!

I had the tuba tataki. It was delicious and had no reaction. Menu has several gf options and the server was knowledgeable- even on making a cocktail (I had lemon vodka). Scenery is beautiful.
