Ordered GF roast beef (no gravy) with squash casserole and side salad. Food was good, but was glutened and feeling miserable now.

Our waiter was very friendly but very unknowledgeable about gluten free. Additionally, despite the high ratings on this app, the menu clearly states that they use a shared fryer so none of the fried “side dishes” that the waiter suggested would have been safe. They also did not offer gluten free bread/buns so any type of sandwich was not an option. We ended up leaving and did not eat there due to lack of options.

This place was awesome! They offer gluten free options and so many to choose from. The food was so delicious!! I had the stuffed collard greens with squash casserole and sweet potato soufflé. Man, was it all good!! I highly recommend you try it out.

Great food! We decided to go in and grab a quick bite and a drink on the way home. We sat at the bar since we were planning on just getting an appetizer. Even the bar tender was knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered something that was marked gf on the menu, she was able to tell us that they had changed the rice in the menu and it was no longer gf. We ordered the grilled chicken tenders instead.

GF options are clearly marked. Staff was knowledgeable about allergies and notified kitchen. Sweet potato soufflé is amazing, but specify GF because they have a topping that goes on top that isn’t GF.

Most items are gluten free. They were precautious, but there were no gluten free desserts.

Great food. Great wait staff. Very conscientious about covid protocol. Get there early and put your name in, it is not a big space and the wait time grows quickly.

Best meal on the island! Good gf options and lots of gf sides. The squash casserole is amazing! I had the shrimp and grits and my husband has the catfish. We also had fried okra which was awesome.

Very down home kind of place. Older man who seated us was very knowledgeable about celiac requirements and noted that they could not verify the Quaker grits they used were free of cross contamination. Had blackened shrimp and the squash casserole which was comfort food extraordinaire. You could also get a full bottle of wine for $17!
Jekyll Island is a small and very quiet island. There are a handful of restaurants and finding one that is as "old island" as this but with a menu denoting gluten, vegetarian and vegan is outstanding! The had cornmeal fried okra if you can eat from a shared fryer. The honey mustard dressing was delicious as was the remoulade sauce for the seafood. The blackens shrimp delicious and the best were the sides. Squash casserole and sweet potato soufflé (served without their gluten topping) delicious! The price point was fair, the service was quick and great and we went twice. Will be back!
So happy to find an option with so many gf options on Jekyll Island. The gluten free options are marked on the menu. Lots of shrimp (I had shrimp and grits, so good), chicken fingers, pot roast and more. Excellent food!
