Drippy's Homemade Ice Cream

Yes new name is Drippy’s but this place is great! They scooped my ice cream from a new container in the back to avoid cross contamination. I had the chocolate-chocolate almond and it was delicious. Staff is knowledgeable. My daughter had dairy-free/vegan options too.

Now called Painters ice cream this is a very cute spacious shop with no line and indoor and outdoor seating. I opt for vegan ice cream at boutique shops since I tend to react to ice cream only sometimes, and the vegan dragon fruit was amazing! Their flavors are clearly marked with a G when NOT gf, and she even checked a book to check the chocolate chip topping was gluten free. However, when I got my ice cream with choc chop topping, I saw some Oreo bits in it. So I took it back and asked if they used the same scooper, she said no but that it was possible some Oreo got into the chocolate chips. Let me swap was very nice and I got hot fudge instead. A lot of people on here talking about sundaes being safe but mine was a close call! Be cautious about toppings if you’re sensitive!

Business has been renamed to Drippies but is the same place according to signs inside. All ice cream that is not gf has a "G" on the label indicating it contains gluten.

Ice cream with gluten clearly marked so it was easy to figure out what I could eat. Had the toffee crunch ice cream with extra chocolate chips…super creamy not too sweet. Yummy. Oh and they asked if I needed a new scooper or the scooper completely sanitized.

The menu has icons for which flavors have gluten and which have nuts, and I mentioned my allergy to the girl who took my order and she went to the back to scoop my ice cream from a fresh container! So friendly and amazing ice cream!

I was a little worried because the girl that I advised of my gluten free request was not the same individual who actually scooped the ice cream. So she did not scoop from the back like a lot of other reviewers mentioned. However-I’m celiac and I did not get sick afterwards.

The menu is clearly marked with GF options. When I told them I had an allergy the girl(Has family who had celiac) offered to go to the back, get a new scoop and scoop it out of a fresh bucket of ice cream. Eat here with confidence. Amazing staff, amazing ice cream.
