There is no separate prep space and staff are not trained for allergy handling. Having said that, they are willing to take great care and seem to understand how to prevent cross-contamination. It would be a stretch to call this cafe 100% safe. At a slow time when the owner can do the prep, you’re probably ok. Go at your own risk. I went when I could interrogate them and had a delicious sandwich.

It is so hard to find a delicious restaurant that offers gluten free options. I have tried so many delicious gluten free items on the menu since they have opened!

All of their sandwiches are made on the BEST gluten free bread. This includes their egg sandwiches that are to die for! All of their meats like corned beef, pastrami, roast beef, turkey, and ribeye are homemade. The owner Dan explained he and his family follow a gluten free diet and it was important to him to make his own meats without any preservatives, fillers, or other hidden ingredients. His wife created all the salad dressing recipes and creative salads, all which are gluten free. Even their hot food like the stuffed cabbage rolls, soup specials, and entree specials are usually gluten free as well! What's not to love! The BEST part about DRM? They make GLUTEN FREE PIEROGI!!!!! And they are delicious, you can't tell the difference and they are offered in every flavor. So stop and visit this awesome deli and spread the word to the GF community for GF catering and just amazing food in general! Highly Recommended!!!

I cannot believe it took me so long to find this place! It is amazing! The owners are absolutely wonderful! I ordered the gf pierogi, yes you heard that right, gluten-free pierogi! It was SOOOO good! My mom and son who are not gluten-free couldn’t even tell that the pierogi were gluten-free! They have so many items that can be made gf I can’t even list them all...I am beyond excited to have found this gem!
