Early Bird Brunch

I have Celiac disease and was assured my meal would be gluten free. It was not and I got really sick. I will never eat there again. The waitress who assured me my meal was gluten free was rude, she acted offended that I dare ask. NOT safe for Celiacs.

My fave breakfast place in Omaha! I usually get the huevos rancheros and the pb&j waffle. Today I got the breakfast nachos with carnitas and the waffle with caramel and mascarpone. Soooo delicious!! I’ve never gotten sick here. The staff is really knowledgeable

Everyone I’ve heard from has said that Early Bird is a great celiac-friendly spot, but I haven’t been glutened so badly in a MINUTE. I ordered the egg white scramble and the GF waffle AND I warned them about my sensitivity. Be cautious here!

I had the GF waffle and it was fire!!! I had my husband toast it and he was worried it was not GF, the waitress assured us it was GF and how they make sure there are no mix ups. I also shared the “if pigs could fly” and it was so good! I would 100% go back.

I was planning to get the breakfast nachos because they were marked GF, but when I asked the server she said getting an omelet was my best bet because I have celiac and they cook each omelet in a separate skillet (the tots from the nachos are cooked in a shared fryer).. it was still super good I just wish I was able to get the tots!!!

Food was excellent! I had the breakfast poutine. Unsure if the tots are made in a dedicated fryer. However, they were marked GF on the menu. Many GF marked options.

I had the gluten free waffles with eggs. They tasted okay. The waffles weren't marked but I could tell by texture that they were gf. The coffee was terrible. All 4 adults at my table had coffee and they all agreed that the coffee was so awful. The other guest non gf was good but I don't feel the need to go there again.
