Please do not come here. We told them ahead of time I had celiac. They gave me a gluten free menu and I told the waitress I was gluten free. I ordered an appetizer from the gluten free menu and it came out with bread on it! I had to send it back, which I hate. I hate being a bother and high maintenance so much. Then I wanted a pasta off their gluten free menu that said it had an Asian sauce. I asked the waitress to go ask if it had soy sauce in it. She said the kitchen told her there was a gluten free alternative for the soy sauce. Later they bring out everyone’s food except for mine and a manager comes up to me and tells me what I ordered off of the GLUTEN FREE menu was not gluten free at all. There was no alternate sauce. She gave me the menu back and said I could pick out something else and my meal would be on the house. I had to go to the bathroom to cry a little bit because I was so embarrassed and frustrated that both times I ordered something from the gluten free menu it was not safe at all. I ended up ordering a salad because that felt like the safest option for me. Even with the gluten free menu that had tons of options. It felt like none of them were safe anymore. I did not like the salad. I did get the flourless chocolate cake which was okay. When I got the bill I was disappointed too. Granted, I did have a cocktail and split a bottle of wine with my table. But they didn’t take off or discount the appetizer (they did bring a replacement app), and they only gave me a discount on the salad.I remember the manager specifically telling me my food would be on the house. And they didn’t even deliver on that. On the bright side, they caught it before serving it to me. But let’s please only put gf things on a gf menu, or at least make a note that an ingredient is not gf. I will probably never go back. If you’re on Main St looking for a safe place to eat please go to Ripple & Co (I even used to work there and have been advocating for gluten free people) or to Revolution BBQ. Revolution BBQ has never disappointed me.
