GF items are not marked on the menu, but waitstaff is well-versed on the GF diet and on cross-contamination. I was told which menu items are naturally GF, which was most of them, and which could be modified to be GF, which covered almost all the rest. I had the Heritage Half Chicken. It was magnificent, and I did not get sick despite having celiac disease. A word of warning, though: When making your reservation, insist on a table in the main restaurant and do NOT accept a table on their enclosed wraparound porch. Tables there are too close together, so you’ll get bumped every time someone tries to squeeze by. Worse still, the acoustics are so bad (probably because of the Plexiglas enclosures) that conversation is impossible without shouting. We were so frazzled by the noise and so uncomfortably hemmed in that we rushed through our expensive meal to escape the commotion, and that is not the experience we came for.

I have Celiac disease & I am very cautious. Had an excellant dinner with grilled oysters, Black Sea bass. The staff was terrific and Marie was fully educated on GF

Very knowledgeable waitress. She said that I could have most dishes made gluten free. I had the wedge salad, scallops and flourless chocolate cake. Everything was delicious. I’m very sensitive and did not get sick.

I called ahead and was told they could accommodate a celiac guest. When I received the reservation confirmation, I used their system to confirm celiac and dairy- free.
Upon arriving they said the prix fixe menu was the only option - not full menu like they had said when I made the reservation. I ordered the safest options and told the waiter about being celiac and dairy allergy.
The meal arrived covered in cheese and possibly bread crumbs. I alerted the waiter who brought us a new meal. Then for the dessert option of the prix fixe, there was no safe option. I asked if the sorbet on the regular menu was gfdf and available. The waiter came back with creme brûlée and seemed surprised when I explained it was made from dairy. Finally we got the sorbet.
$200 and my daughter had a stomach ache before we even left the restaurant. So I suspect there was undisclosed gluten somewhere in her meal.
Very disappointing.
