Edgewater Tacos

This place has a couple tables, but it’s mostly about take out. Family run and super small. I’ve been going since it opened for years.

No GF menu but it’s mostly corn tortillas in the kitchen with a few exceptions. I’ve talked with the owner before and will just say GF beef tacos or whatever I’m ordering. (I always get the taco dinner.)

The thing is, the food is so good and reasonably priced. It’s like- remember when food was good? And you could be snob about it and enjoy authentic things because they were special? There’s an ache in me for that thing I never get, and sometimes this taco stand does it for me. You are not gonna get GF menu options marked. For me, it’s trust- most any of these big resturants have turnover and even for trained people-it’s a risk if you have celiac. It’s roulette. Here, I know the lady who runs it is working there and clean. That feels safer to me than a place with revolving door.
