This is by far my favorite burger. The bun is out of this world, like nothing I’ve ever had before. I will go out of my way to eat here whenever I’m in Charleston.

The pickled shrimp plate on GF bread was amazing and flavorful! I hadn’t had a burger since being diagnosed a month ago so I was VERY excited to have one here and it did not disappoint!

Went just for dessert and so worth it! My husband got the chocolate cake and I got the carrot cake one. Both were amazing and felt safe eating.

My husband was severely "gluten'd" last night! We ordered the cheese plate which came with regular bread (me) and GF bread (hubby). As the server was setting down the bread, my husband pointed to one of them and said "is this the GF bread?" and the server hastily said "yes". Well...guess what? WRONG! After my husband consumed 1/2 of the bread and I tasted it, I said "I don't think that's GF" and I was right. Now my husband is laid up with a severe gluten reaction which will take some time to subside. Manager was not empathetic to the situation at all. It ruined our dinner and our night. Staff needs to be trained (and care) if they're going to offer GF!!

I had the best cheeseburger of my life on the BEST (by far) gluten-free bun I have ever had. Then I had THE BEST warm flourless chocolate cake I ever had. I can’t stress enough how much this place is a treat. If you’re ever near Charleston, put this place at the top of your list of places to go.

Very knowledgeable about GF/celiac disease. We came to the brewery for lunch as the restaurant is only open for dinner. I had the burger with the homemade Gf bun and rice (fries are in shared fryer). GF bun is one of the best I’ve had since going GF, delicious! Almost all of the desserts are GF and incredible as well. We did the strawberry baked Alaska and didn’t disappoint. My non GF friends also enjoyed their meals. Staff is knowledgeable, I never got sick and will be back here again! I heard dinner has several more motions. But the burger bun shown in photos is a must try!!

Delicious GF burger! Was HUGE and could only eat half of it. Sides weren’t GF, but I really just wanted a burger, so I was ok there. Waiter was very attentive and cautioned me about eating any of my hubbies curly fries because they are dusted in flour.

No issues, no side-effects and I have a SEVERE allergy. Would definitely come here again!

Fun specialty drinks and the best desserts in town! The main menu is pretty limited but they have amazing gluten free buns for the Edmund’s Oast burger. What makes this place great for Celiacs though are the desserts. At least half the dessert menu is gluten free, made in a different kitchen and really really amazing!

This place was so good we went twice! I tried different foods both times and did not get sick. I believe that is because the staff was very knowledgeable in helping me with my order. There’s no dedicated fryer so the fries were out for me. It seemed like there were a lot of options though with their specially made gf bread and buns. Don’t skip out on dessert! I tried the honey chai tiramisu and huckleberry cheesecake and both were insanely delicious. Desserts are the only things actually marked gf on the menu, but I still always double check on everything. The patio area was so lovely to sit at and we didn’t feel rushed out of our table when we finished eating.

Our NYE dinner at Edmund’s Oast was DELICIOUS! I have celiac and I had the cheeseburger on a homemade bun that was amazing. We also got a cheese plate for an appetizer and they brought out the gluten free (for me) and gluten (for my family) bread on separate plates so the cheese was completely gluten free. There were multiple gluten free dessert options and I had the cheesecake which was great!! They are clearly very educated on celiac protocols and I felt very safe dining here both for gluten free and COVID regulations. The only thing you can’t have on the menu is anything from the fryer (chicken, fries, etc) but other than that it is very accommodating!

The pastry chef, Heather, is magical. We had wonderful gluten free bread with our charcuterie plate. There were lots of dinner options and they pan fried food for me to avoid shared fryers. Multiple dessert options that were amazing! The food and drinks were wonderful!!
