Eight Sushi Lounge

As others noted, there's very little on the menu that can be made gf due to the heavy use of sauces in their sushi. The three dishes I had were still tasty but more in "this is fine sushi" than "this is amazing". The night we were there was very busy and we waited almost 45 minutes after our reservation time for a table. We were given an apology dish and I don't blame the restaurant for this, stuff happens. Just don't go with a tight schedule.

All that said, the waiter was extremely knowledgeable about gf prep and clearly wasn't just guessing. He even checked the cocktail I ordered.

They have tamari for dipping GF ponzu but every item on the vast menu contains gluten and I was instructed that only 2 appetizers and 2 rolls could be modified. And the sushi came with sauces or garnishes, many of which were not GF. Not an easy place to eat if you need to be GF.
