After explaining the severity of my gluten aversion, the server advised me to avoid dining here. Due to the small kitchen size, he admitted, the risk of cross contamination is high. I appreciate his honesty, and I’m frankly a little perplexed as to why other patrons have posted positive reviews about this place. (Another celiac red flag: inconsistencies with their “gluten-free” labeling—my brother intended to order the enchiladas that were “marked safe” according to the menu and was informed they are, in fact, teeming with gluten.) Save yourself the trouble and get thee to a more thoroughly vetted gf sanctuary like Guisados or Villas.
