This place has the potential to offer a lot of gluten free items, but we had a difficult time getting clear answers. When we first walked in we asked if there was a gluten free menu available. The hostess did not have strong English skills and proceeded to hand us a children’s menu. When we reiterated that we were looking for gluten free and could they accommodate she had a quizzical look and then said yes, yes and took us to a table. When the chips came out the same person brought them and could not answer if they were ok or if they were from a shared fryer. The server was better and did mention the fajitas and bowls were ok. We asked again to ensure the Mexican rice was ok and he said it was ok. So my celiac daughter ordered the beef bowl. She was uncomfortable eating it due to the lack of easy communication so she only ate a little. Sufficient time has passed whereby she would have had a reaction if there had been gluten and she is fine, but she’s been nervous the last 5 hours waiting to make sure she was fine. So again, they very well may have a lot of options and they may be very safe, I just couldn’t get the information needed to be confident in what she was getting.
