I go to this restaurant as often as I possibly can! Gluten free tortilla chips/salsa, tacos, fries, and churros are to die for! Everything is gluten free except the Beer. I’m super sensitive to cross contamination and I’ve never had an issue.

Not only was this restaurant entirely gf but also the best tacos and churros I have ever had!!!! I have never eaten so slow just to soak in the goodness!!! Nothing on website or menu about it being gf but can confirm, I had no allergic reaction! Put this at the TOP of your list to visit!

Great food, wonderful owner, delish churros! My teenage daughter (also celiac) and her best friend and I all had lunch here this weekend. It’s always such a relief when eating with non-celiac folk to be able to take them to a restaurant where we can safely eat that is delicious and creative! This restaurant certainly fit the bill. We all ordered off the brunch menu and it was delicious. I will say that my daughter and her friends dish were fairly spicy, so if you prefer medium to mild flavor profiles, you may want to ask your server about how hot each item is. I got the huevos rancheros, and they were perfect. Their chips are deliciously crispy, and the churros were a delight.

As a person who gets pretty nervous trying new restaurants, I felt 100% safe eating here and it was DELISH. The menu doesn’t say anything about being gf but the staff confirmed that everything on the menu is gluten free. I recommend wholeheartedly!!

I’ve been going to El Pocho for 6 years and I have yet to be disappointed. Delicious tacos, apps and churros for dessert, all dedicated GF! The only downside is price but it’s worth it for the quality of the food. The drinks are also impeccable. If you are GF you must try El Pocho

Everything is GF. I even tried two of the homemade mexican sodas. Group of 5 of us for a lunch. All the food looked incredible and tasted just as good. Very creative chef. Unassuming location in a converted home. Do not let the outside appearance fool you. This place is a gem. Parking on the street.

Wow! I saw the other 5-star reviews but I still didn’t expect it to be SO GOOD. The pollo frito (fried chicken) was incredible, the mixed mushroom starter was yummy, and the poblano tacos and black bean tacos - delicious. Even gluten free churros omg. There were only the two vegetarian taco options but honestly you don’t need more (my husband is the chicken-eater).

Service is a bit slow because the kitchen is tiny, but not enough to complain. Will definitely be back!

My wife and I went for dinner last night. We ended up at the wrong place….dah! Arrived 30 minutes late and didn’t have much time as we had to be somewhere. They fit us in, helped us with the order and the whole experience turned out to be wonderful. The ambiance, the waiter and the food was exceptional. Planning our next dinner there as we were rushed(my fault) and really want to experience the great vibe and great food properly.
