Never had an issue here. Many things are gluten free. We ordered bowls with rice and chicken. The kitchen was knowledgeable about cross contamination and the food is great. If you order online call ahead and they will mark it as an allergy order and take some extra steps to prevent any cross contamination.

Man… this place. An outright gem. Real food, made by actual people, that looks like food, and it’s safe for us to eat. What a home run. The staff is terrific, the care is highly considerate, and I always go out of my way to go there whenever I can. They also play great music; I seriously appreciate this place!

Amazing little place, with tons of options. The cashier was very knowledgeable and let us know the corn tacos have their own side of the grill but she cautioned us that there could be cross contamination. I love that level of honesty. I am not celiac so I did get the taco, my husband is so he got the rice bowl and it was amazing!! Chips are in a dedicated fryer and delicious.

Was nervous when they didn’t have GF marked on menu and when I repeated I had celiac and would get violently sick, she said it’s ok this is safe. I asked to change gloves etc, I ordered the Arroz Pollo - it was GOOD.. I’m stuffed, but so far so good - haven’t gotten sick and I’m pretty sensitive

Love the taste of the chicken and rice with plantains ! When I originally asked, I was told that most of the menu was gluten free except the obvious choices like wraps or burritos, etc. I haven’t had a problem and we have it monthly.

The food was absolutely terrific. The staff knew what I can eat and almost everything on the menu was gluten free. Can’t wait to come back. Good thing my daughter is going to CCSU so it gives me a reason to drive in.

I can’t wait to go back! I got the Almost Legal bowl and it was delicious!! The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about GF, they basically knew before I said I was by what I ordered and asking about their tortilla chips, make sure you get them, so good!

Wow! This place is ridiculously good! I had the almost legal rice bowl and it was delicious. I also got an order of their sweet potato wedges and they were really good too but next time I would ask them to put less seasoning on them because it was a little overpowering and took away from the flavor of the sweet potato. Other than that everything was perfect. I cannot wait to go back!

Awesome food!!! Loved being able to eat pretty much everything. The sauces and the sweet potato wedges and plantains were so great. We got the garlic aioli with the chicken. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious! The bowls are amazing. The staff is very familiar with which things are and are not gluten free. Only a few things aren’t. It’s super fast, easy, and healthy! Can not recommend more.

This place was amazing. They walked me through the menu and informed me that they had just purchased a second fryer to allow for more gluten free items!Also, the chicken was absurdly good. I got it with the Sriracha Aioli and I may be addicted...
