We went into this restaurant based on the recommendation in FindMeGlutenFree. Fortunately we asked about their ability to serve us before we were seated. Everyone was very confused by our question about them being able to serve gluten free food. Only one of the 3 people we asked seemed to have any idea what we were talking about, and she said, "no, we will not be able to serve anything gluten free". Then she asked us to wait while she checked with the manager, who happened to walk up just then. He was as confused by the question as the others were. We explained that gluten free basically meant that the food had to be free of any wheat, barley and/or rye. He still seemed confused. So the lady talking to the manager turned to us and said they would not be able to serve ANYTHING that was gluten free.
If you are gluten free because you need to be, as opposed to just jumping on the gluten free bandwagon because it somehow seems cool, don't even consider going to this restaurant. And if you don't understand what gluten free is, definitely do not go around telling people that they can get served gluten free chips and other food, when it clearly is NOT a safe place to eat!
