El Sombrero

El Sombrero is one of my favorite restaurants in Juneau! I have celiac disease and have never had a problem here. My favorite dish is Arroz con Pollo. The staff is knowledgeable and they are happy to make suggestions and help me to try new things, adapted to my dietary needs.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

We asked if they had gluten free options and the waitress did not know what I was talking about. We left because it didn’t seem safe to eat there.

Everything on menu can be made gluten free practically. I’m a celiac and did not get sick! Tacos are good but very very big portion size!!
