Battery location: Food was delicious. I had the roasted pork in a bowl with rice and beans. Also the tostones and they were so good! It didn’t bother me at all! My server was very knowledgeable about the things on the menu that are gluten free and not so don’t be shy to ask ahead of time! I am not sure if their fryer is separate (I don’t think so) but I did not have any stomach issues following my meal.

I ordered from the Battery Location. Stephanie, the manager, called me personally to talk through their menu. Battery uses the same fryer, so tostones are NOT celiac-friendly. I ordered the tropical salad with shrimp and green goddess dressing. I feel SO comfortable with eating here, since she took such amazing precautions. She also knows a Celiac, so that always helps!! Thank you, Stephanie!!

Bowls and sandwiches can both be made GF. Food is absolutely delicious. No issues.

Celiac friendly?

Yes

They can make their Cuban sandwich gluten-free by using tostones. It’s delicious and even better than the one with bread. Yucca fries are also gf.

They were so accommodating- the chef said they could make any of the sandwiches or buns GF by using tostones instead of bread. We had the pork belly bun on tostones, with a side of fried yucca and maduros and no bad reaction!
