El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant

I ordered a gluten free menu, asked if the chips were fried with anything else and still got sick. As a celiac it is so hard to not be able to trust any restaurant. Reminder just cause it’s gf doesn’t mean they handle it right

I got the pollo asada, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. delicious all around, I am not super allergic so I didn't ask for special care to be taken with my meal, but I've had no ill effects. They have labels on their menu to indicate which items are gluten free!

Ended up in the ER after ordering the “Gluten Free” marked tacos. Never had trouble with Mexican in my life and it was clearly labeled GF. Must’ve been a partially flour + corn tortilla blend. I have a gluten allergy so needed to be hospitalized for hours to get me back up and running. DO NOT GO. THIS IS NOT SAFE FOR CELIACS OR ANYONE WITH GLUTEN SENSITIVITY.

They have an amazing selection of gluten free options. It was difficult to choose just one entree! About one third to one half of the menu is gluten free!

I LOVE this place. Get the steak Fajitas!! They will change your life. I’ve eaten here several times. I’ve never had an issue.
